This sight would normally be one of a german forest as it should be. This sight is getting rare, since people seem to like to shoot wild animals and thus need cheaper trees in order to keep up with the amounts of food these animals need, because their population is kept high to at least meet one animal.
So germans plant cheap trees other than these here that have normal leaves (instead of needles of the cheap trees).
What you don't see here is that this is a so-called "Ruheforst". It is an initiative of environmental activists and the two major german christian churches that takes place in forests. The result basically is a biologically fully intact german forest as it was hundreds of years ago.
Now that planting trees and not cutting them for commercial use doesn't bring much money, another Idea is needed and this is it:
it is a cemetery
People buy a tree usually for 99 years and can bury their loved ones, after they are cremated, under one of those trees they bought. Get the idea?
Quite an Idea, don't you think? now even the catholic church goes along this Idea.
yes, they bury them under the trees. The thing is that they cremate them and put them into an urn which dissolves biologically.
That way the ashes are set free and the trees sooner or later grow towards their ashes.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
